It's NO iQ,
as in " a no-brainer". iQ has
always been one of those strange barometers.
Personally, I'd rather be thought of as
smart than intelligent. Someone who might
not be able to calculate pi to the seventh
place, but knows how to fix a toilet from
running. ( I can do neither.)I guess Smart
is knowing when to be intelligent.

Here's my story.
I was born, and soon after
that started performing. I played music
in the seventies and eighties, did comedy
in the eighties, nineties and whatever you
call this decade, radio in the eighties,
nineties and now, so understandably, I'm
a little tired.
In 2004 I won an Edward R.
Murrow award for writing, which pissed off
a lot of journalists who deserved it more.
